Our Faith Statement
This is what Rock Solid Code is built on. Not opinion. Not preference. Foundation.
Creation
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it. He spoke and it was. He did not create by chance. He created with purpose, and that purpose includes every one of us.
The Holy Trinity
We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. One God, three persons. He came to earth as fully human and fully God, not half of one and half of the other, but completely both. He walked among us, felt what we feel, and yet remained without sin. And humbly, not by force, not by obligation, He chose the cross. For us.
Sin & The Price
We believe that all people are born into sin. The wage of sin is death and no person can pay that debt alone. But God, in His grace and love, did not leave us there.
The Cross & Resurrection
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, took every sin upon Himself and carried it to the cross. He died for every sinner and every soul lost on this earth. He was buried. And on the third day He rose again, defeating death, defeating evil, alive forevermore.
A Living God
We believe that right now, today, Jesus is alive. Not a memory. Not a religion. A living God who desires a personal relationship with every person who confesses that He died for them and rose again.
The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, living Word of God. Every word. True yesterday, true today, and true for every area of life: our work, our relationships, our struggles, and our growth.
Faith We Live
We believe that faith is not only something we confess. It is something we live. Daily. In our work, our craft, and our conduct. We believe that our skills are gifts entrusted to us by God, and we intend to steward every one of them to reflect Christ to a world that may never walk through a church door. That is what Rock Solid Code is built on.
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
— Deuteronomy 31:8

Faith in Tech
Why faith belongs in the industry. Why we can't separate the two.
Technology is one of the most far-reaching industries on earth. It stretches across every continent, every culture, every sector of society. And it is also one of the greatest gifts and talents God has entrusted to this generation.
So we take these skills, the code, the networks, the builds, the fixes, and we carry them into an industry that largely does not know Jesus. Not to force anything. But to be the representation of Him that people need. Through how we work, how we treat people, and the integrity we bring to everything we build.
"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden."
— Matthew 5:14
We are called to do everything as if it is being done for God Himself. Not for the client. Not for the paycheck. Not for the deadline. For Him. That means our code matters. Our IT support matters. The way we respond to a frustrated client at 4pm on a Friday matters. All of it is worship.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
— Colossians 3:23
"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Honestly, working hard in this industry can make you lose sight of God. The deadlines, the pressure, the debugging sessions that go nowhere, the imposter syndrome. It is easy to put your head down and forget who gave you the ability to do this in the first place. We know that feeling. We have been there.
But we keep going, not because we are strong enough, but because He is. And because these skills were never ours to begin with.
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfil his good purpose."
— Philippians 2:13
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
— Philippians 4:13
Sometimes we feel like our faith and our work are two separate lives. Sunday is for Jesus. Monday is for the terminal. But that is a lie we need to stop believing. Evangelism is not only preaching. It is showing up with integrity. It is writing clean code when no one is watching. It is going the extra mile for a client who will never know you prayed for them. It is being different in an industry that does not always value people over product.
Tech is a mission field. One of the biggest on earth. And we have been placed in it on purpose.
"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us."
— 2 Corinthians 5:20
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
— Matthew 5:16
That is why Rock Solid Code exists. Not to be a Christian tech blog that keeps faith and code in separate boxes. But to be a place that is hardcoded in Jesus, just like He is hardcoded in us. Our work is our worship. Our skills are His gift. And this blog is our way of giving it back.
Paul said it simply:
"Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ."
— 1 Corinthians 11:1
That is who we want to be in tech. Not perfect. Not the loudest in the room. Just someone worth following, because of who we are following.
What we believe about tech
Code is worship
Every line written with integrity is an act of service to God.
Tech is a mission field
Billions of people in this industry may never walk through a church door.
Faith is not separate
Sunday and Monday are the same life. There is no off switch.
Skills are gifts
We did not earn these abilities. We were entrusted with them.
Integrity is witness
How we work speaks before we ever say a word about Jesus.
People over product
Technology serves people. People are made in the image of God.
